Yesterday afternoon, I saw on my Wodrpress dashboard a “Paris and London MeetUp” published by Matt. Read the thread, and thought that it could be insteresting to be there. I replied, and sent a mail to Xavier (WP FR community).

And after few mails, I was there ! But for what ? Curiosity, socialization… were good reasons to were there. I’m not a dev’, just a “pimper”… but I’m a Wordpress user.

Big smile upon my face, few words and questions asked … but my english sucks… I really need to improve it by a long trip ! I was shyer than a child and preferred to stay in the back…

We had conversations about WP, the iPhone, the different French social networks, blogging in general, and underground SQL inner db time improvement.

It was a cice time, and I’m pleased. I met Matt, Tony, Xavier, Luc, stuFFmc, and some other guys that I forgot the name (sorry). Even I didn’t catched all, it was a pleasure that has been shared (I hope so!)

A lot of answers came during conversation, and the 2.4 release will be more user-customization centered.
